It's getting real tight for Coenen now. Last year Gajser, now Coenen. I really hope he can bounce back because he was dominating everyone all season.
Looks like Herlings will be world champion in 2026 as long as he stays injury free.

That last USA visit is costing both Coenen brothers dearly,in their respective championships.
Seems like the brothers have changed for the worse since their US tour.

Both Coenen brothers are de-tuned for most of this season now it seems. From fastest to not so good.
They made a lot of fans in America! I think they raised interest in MXGP by coming over to the states.
I just looked up the word DISASTER in the encyclopedia and it showed a picture of the Coenens American adventure that derailed there Championship!
The championship is taking an interesting turn… At first, there were Honda's errors and Herlings' DNFs, leading many to believe Lucas was the champion. Now the Honda is running nice, but Lucas's injury is preventing him from finishing races. Unless Herlings suffers another injury or his Honda breaks down, it looks like he’ll be the champion.
That track keep you on your toes for sure!
I still think Herlings could have won this year anyway ,just a shame Lucas hurt himself, .shame it just wasnt just the bike packing up.
