Day 8 – Kastav – Vodice – Podgorje – Kastelec – Trieste = 70Km; 1024+

This is how our vacations look like ❤️
We both work full time ( for now 😀 ) and we only have weekends and 25 days / year to travel.
12 days we have chosen for this wonderful experience (17 days total , including weekends). We are so lucky ❤️

Episode 5 from our bike trip to Italy is ready 🙂 The day we reached Slovenia and Italy ❤️

On this day, it rained a lot :)) So, we had no idea how far can we go.
The road from Croatia when we were close to Slovenian border was stunning.

At Slovenian border from Jelovice, we were kind of worried because we’ve read some reviews that there some people were not allowed to pass..
But we’ve met a few cyclists from Germany that were heading to Dubrovnik and they said that there is no issue 🙂
And it wasn’t 🙂 The man from the border just waved at us and let us pass :)) ( he saw our ids from the distance :)) )

We ate Slovenian cherries in the first city and spent 1 hour in a bus station ( frozen :))) ) to make a booking reservation and cancel another taken by someone else. But we’ve ended up in a beautiful apartment in Trieste for the night ❤️

We never been to Serbia, Croatia or Slovenia before, so we are very happy that this year we had this opportunity to explore, to touch, to feel these places. We enjoyed every moment ❤️

Adventure begins at the end of the roads you know ❤️
