Poggy was very impressive today. I think he could've left IDT and gone for it. But Carapaz was very good too. So I think it worked out well.

I seriously miss itv4 coverage of TDF, Gary and the team are sublime and sorely missed on tv this year
The interview in week one may have played a part. He got questioned about winning too many races and then “lost” the yellow jersey the following day.
He could have 7 stage wins and the media would be accusing him of turning the TdF into a procession.
There sre two people who never get credit here. Poggy is a classy person who rarely gets annoyed. He has a perspective you only get through great parenting. Clearly fortunate to have been born into his family. Awesome job mom and dad!
Because he does this for his team mates, they turn themselves inside out for him when he asks.
