      They do.

      Also curious is the date the tax was due.

      VED runs from the first of the month, unless the vehicle has been transferred to another keeper, but the Date of last V5C (logbook) issued says it hasn't had a new V5C since March 2021. 🤔

      Can you let me know why your videos have a section at the end with ‘ongoing as of Jan 2023’ when it’s now the end of October?

      My son was returning home from dropping his mobile in for repair. He was stopped by an officer and cited for mobile phone use!! The officer refused to look at his receipt or listen to his explanation. She said she thought he was using a black phone. His is bright blue! He produced his evidence and a senior officer is investigating. But the other side of the Mikey coin! He said if I had been my mother would kill me! The officer said that wasn’t an explanation! They can obtain CCTV footage if necessary. But so frustrating when others are watching videos while driving.

      If untaxed the car may have changed hands or sold to a car dealer but assuming it is not on the road and has not been declared SORN the registered keeper will get a letter and an £80 fine which is reduced by 50% if paid within 28 days.

      I love that you can always choose to have the last word with those that feel they are above the law, it's not something that they will likely be very used to dealing with as they often don't know the word 'no'

      i hate the types of cyclists riding side by side, but i hate these types of cyclists more – the type that go around spying on your personal business. whats so dangerous about phone use IN STATIONARY TRAFFIC anyway?

      No Mikey, if they enter into the motor trade they do not have to be taxed or sorned, BUT the seller/Motor dealer has to inform DVLA the vehicle no longer belongs to the regsitered keeper, and it can stay untaxed for years, untill it has a new registered keeper, nice catch too And just to add this vehicle was advertised for £31500, in mid August 2023(hence it being untaxed), now taxed as would no doubt have a new owner.

      It does cover dash mounted mikey, you cannot even put a finger on a mobile device while driving, thought you would know that. Now go back and get that taxi

      I suppose this is good viewing, law enforcement on a bike , but you've got to be honest almost every cyclist breaks the law , but then again how do you prove it , no number plate
