I'm glad I I live the USA 😁
Prices are ridiculously expensive for Hungarian salaries..Insane actually. .Maybe the prices are similar to other EU cities but the average salary about 1/3 less in Hungary..
Sorry Bro! There are streets in Vienna that smell like piss, you just haven't been there! Greetings from Hungary!😉🇭🇺
Hungarian prices ar horrible
There is definitely a robbery going in here
LoL, quality of life is high and prices are not too crazy…Well…if you make 3000-4000€ monthly…sure, that's true, but since most people make between 800-1600€, with apartment rents ranging usually between 400-1200€…yeah, the quality of life is pretty low at Budapest/Hungary currently. I mean, sure…in Vienna or Prague or similar cities the groceries might cost 10-20% more and the rent might be 30-40% more, but people's salaries are double what people make in Budapest (and probably more like 2,5x of what people make in the countryside of Hungary).
So Budapest is not a very pricey city for Western Europeans or Americans, or even for neighboring countries, but it's pretty expensive for locals 😀
Basically the golden rule is this: IF you have a cozy western european remote job, with Euro salary, and you live in any big hungarian city… congrats you won the jackpot. You will live cheap.
IF you are your average overworked, underpaid hungarian with no doctoral or lawyer or NER income, pretty much you screwed…
GST is 27% in Hungary, median wage is like 1000 EUR a month , go figure how much fun it is to live for Hungarians .
The government is super corrupt and politicians embezzle most of the tax money..
Wieder ein Kommentar für die Deutschen.hahaha lustig und überhaupt mit der Ki Stimme.so ein sch…..
The tiny Pasta is for soup

hungary is an alcoholism country thats why that section is so big :d
Palinka is Hungarian.
Stephen is István in hungarian
Hungary is a bear wine and spirit country.
Palinka is Hungarian. Romanian one can't even be legally called Palinka.
Penny Supermarket is cheaper than Aldi.
Vale a pena comprar eletrônicos em Budapest? Onde comprar?
that price is 10 dkg (means 10th of a kg) thats 4690 HUF/kg
It’s BUDAPE-SH-T for crying out loud
Please stop saying " it's hard to tell"…that really means " there is little difference"
Hungary is central European Country.
2:21 I know what you mean. Even here in Malaysia, the supermarket practiced similar thing. Sometimes I just gave up and didn't buy the item instead of wasting time look for the price. And some of the price labels are tiny. Missed the old days where they stick the price tag on the item individually.
4:31 Talking about Mint ice cream, I don't understand how most Americans claimed that it taste link toothpaste.
I guess in America the mint ice cream do taste like toothpaste, but here it taste minty, not even closed to toothpaste, and I've ate toothpaste a lot when I was a kid.😅
The reason Susan and I can spend a month in Budapest every year is the cost of lodging ($50 to $60 per day) the price of quality, fresh produce, the price of decent wine (and beer)Free public transportation for us (over 65), concerts every sat AM at Liszt house ($6) and fine art museum ($6)
Hungary has one of the highest Inflationrates in the EU, eventhrough the Euro wasn't implemented yet; and we don't know when the Euro will be implemented! I woulden't be Surprized if Hungary implements the Euro even later then Poland, Czechia and Romania!
Bro just went into a spar in hungary… the most expensive supermarket.
Loving the videos. Following from South Western Ontario
🇨🇦
You shop at Spar, which is one of the most expensive stores.
Lidl and Aldi are the cheapest supermarkets.
Pro tip….. meat, vegetables and fresh items you do not buy in a supermarket….. you buy toiletpaper and these kind of items there….. and Spar is western European… so all their stuff is originally priced/taxed in euro’s…. And there’s an inflation going on because of “free” money printing by the ECB….. and these companies want to make profits….. So stay away from them.
Dude, I can tell you are from Canada, because you obviously don't know what is the "tiny little pasta" for. It is for soups you never even heard of Canadians being not a great cooks LOL. ANd why it is tiny because it is made of 8 eggs and not from the fake wheat semolina you sell as pasta .
For you prices are low but for hungarian old peoples with 300 euro pension is very high . This is not reach country.
Spar is from Austria, expensive. You have to go to small shops or markets!
Try this! Shop at Hungarian grocery stores and supermarkets..Not Ger,man; English, French ones! Wait There are no Hungarian grocery/supermarkets at all, Hungary is a western multinational colony!
Your baby is so adorable 😊❤
Yeah. And in relation to our salaries, these prices are absolutely disgusting, and they just keep rising. We pay often 2-3 times more (but the 30-50 percent increase is the bare minimum) than before the Ukrain-Russia war. So kindly fuck this crap.
Hungary is NOT the poorest country in EU
Thing is prices might be a bit lower than prices in vienna. But wages are much lower. Like half 😀 So yeah prices are crazy high compared to average wages.
Is Hungary a beer country or vine country or spirits country? The answer is yes.
Youre white and from a high salary country like thats kinda obvios. when people earn 1/4 from you.
Well done. Rgds fr. Msia
how much are egg prices in hungary ! ?
