  1. I bought a mid 1980's 3 speed Sturmey Archer non-descript town bike and always wondered where it came from. I eventually found out that it was made at the ROJ factory in Ljubljana and I've thought about going there to find some other ROJ bikes and their riders. I've been vaguely aware of how well the Slovenian cycle team have been doing and am very pleased to see Katie has visited to see her enthusiasm for what some may describe as the centre of cycling culture. Katie should say 'I'll be back' in an Austrian accent, next to Slovenia.

  2. Wait, are you really in Slovenia? 🙂 Interesting, didn't expect that. Well, here you have many stunning rides and views. Basically, it doesn't matter where you start, you can get to nice places.

  3. Ye you passed through Pog’s home town on the way to the climb pending on which way you took in the town/village centre there is a roundabout there which will let you know that he’s from there.

But as a Slovenian I kinda have enough of influencers coming here and blowing our country up with over tourism.

  4. So cool to see Tadej Pogacar advertising for Jana water. One of my good friends is Jana. She is Croatian. Slovenia is on my bucket list, along with Croatia.

  5. I have glad I found your channel 🙂 Especially with your next ride to Bled, that is my home town 😉 I'm looking forward to see your impressions! Your videos are so full of positive energy. I love that!

  6. Hi Katie,
I love these videos when you travel to such a beautiful and cozy place.😊
I want to buy a Garmin, but I haven't decided which one yet?
Garmin Edge Explore 2 or Edge 1040? I really like 1-day bike tours.
    I certainly wouldn't give my clothes to a stranger, I'm very picky.😁
    Thanks for the video!😊

  7. Yea my country really have those amazing wiews of mountains. Well, after several weeks of hot, dry days, we finally got some much-needed rainfall. You are also not far from starting a drive in the mountains and finishing it with a view of the sea. In our beautiful Slovenia, even this is possible.

  8. wellcome to slovenia..you are really nice, like your english acent…great that u riding the bike to sea or feel country more closly…enyoj your ride and blue sky. wish you nice expirience here.,we are sport nation…

  9. The open borders in Europe are absolutely great for the criminals who can travel freely from country to country, plus when illegals enter Europe they can travel anywhere 😢😢😢

  10. Beautiful country. Btw Garmin searching sucks big time, try searching for an address, it's the most complicated process I usually just stop and use my phone. Also the rerouting is almost never good, it either gets frozen and directs me to a crazy busy highway so I usually just end up using my phone.

  11. That's crazy. I was born in Slovenia, live in Warrington now, discovered this channel just last week and now I see this video. Wonderful.

  12. Just found your video and subscribed. This is my home territory, my home place only 13 km from Pogi’s Komenda. I know this place very well. Long ago cycled up your second route. Have lived abroad for long time but soon a few weeks back. Enjoy the beauty and hospitality of Slovenia. And cheers for sharing the adventure. Stay safe!

  13. I've been watching your videos for years and you casually show up, do some of the hardest climbs in the first 2 days (so cool!) and then ride literally past my house😊Enjoy and welcome to our little green heaven☀️
