Hang your bike by the front wheel using the projection to the left, then lock it to the crossbar. I like the design.

Guessing rest it on the sticky outy bit between the fork and the downtube and then orient the lock so it’s going through the main triangle.
Might want to pick up some foam padding to stop it from getting scratched. Maybe some pipe insulation or a pool noodle.

Maybe hook the front wheel to the little metal rod at the top, and then lock the wheel to the loop. But I would just park it besides the whole thing and chain it to the rod.

This is a “keep your bike in your apartment” type of lock, to me. This doesn’t take into consideration bikes of different wheel lengths. So if your bike is shorter or longer than average, it’s not gonna sit on these right. And then there’s the likely wheel damage that’s gonna occur when people inevitably bang into your bike while it’s hanging.

Unless it’s a beater, I strongly recommend against locking your bike up to that rack. From the looks of it, thieves should easily be able cut that rack off in a matter of seconds with an angle grinder

Those look like stand up racks: Bike goes up, set the wheel on that post, then lock the frame securely to the post.
If that won’t work with your bike/lock, you could also just lock the frame to the post itself with the bike sitting on the ground as long as the lock is smaller than the top part.

Hook the saddle over the small, short crossbar, then the lock goes through the loop at the top of the rack and around the frame of the bike.
But this design sucks, because it assumes a fairly low distance from saddle to frame, and a conventional diamond style frame. It would not work well for most road bikes with “compact” geometry or a gravel bike with a high saddle.

I have concerns that the whole thing is held in place with a standard hex nut. Every bike locked on this thing can be carried off with a single wrench.

Hang by the front wheel. U lock the rear wheel through the rear triangle onto the vertical pole. Cable lock the front wheel. Might not be a fun exercise if you’re bike is heavy.
