That is a big result for Labour.
It is incredibly rude of Andrew Cooper to skulk off in such a way as the victorious candidate makes her speech. Considering that this has been a Tory safe seat, there is a realistic possibility that at a future election of this constituency that a Tory candidate will be voted back in at some point. Why would he want to jeopardise his future chances of getting elected? I hope that the constituents of Tamworth take note of his bad manners.

I'm petrified of Labour getting in though. The issues that we have with illegal immigration and with Labour already promising that they would clear the backlog, which just means that they will say yes ( and a council house ) to everyone arriving. That's Labours definition of clearing the back log.
