This is the highly anticipated long video of my spring trip to Sweden, a journey that began with the simple goal of finding peace of mind and ended up being much more. Along the way, I confronted personal struggles, faced my demons, and found clarity in the company of great friends. Sometimes, it’s not just about the destination—it’s about the people we share our journeys with and the moments that change us forever.

Join me as I ride my motorcycle through the stunning landscapes from the Norwegian West Coast to a secret camp spot deep in the forests of Mangwood, Sweden. From challenging roads to heartfelt conversations around the campfire, this adventure is about rediscovering what truly matters in life. It’s not just about the miles ridden—it’s about the lessons learned and the bonds strengthened.

This is more than just a motorcycle camping trip. It’s a story of friendship, resilience, and the healing power of the open road.

Here is the GPX file from this trip: https://ko-fi.com/s/36bf016009
It is free of charge and only contains the route I took in Norway. The Sweden part is just the Trans Euro Trail part up towards the Norwegian boarder.

  1. In questa vita siamo tutti in ricerca … amiamo la natura , mari , laghi , fiumi … lo stupore per un tramonto o per il volo di un falco . In realtà la nostra anima cerca il Creatore di tutte queste meraviglie … Dio

  2. What amazing scenes you have captured Thomas. Thank you so much. I was wondering how you record while riding, as I see you don't have a GoPro or any other camera on you?

  3. Very beautiful scenery. I’d also love to travel, see something new, buy a T7, and enjoy rides for the soul… but unfortunately, I live in Ukraine, and we’re at war, so all of that has to wait for later…
And time goes by — I’m not getting any younger, and I’m afraid it’ll just remain a dream.
Thank you for giving me the chance to see something new!

  4. Oh my good man. I am 66 and I have nights like that too. I also don’t know why a fear can be so strong; I just put some music on, and box breathe till it passes. You’re not alone. 🙏

  5. A fantastic lanscape, a T7, good coffee, a bottle of Ardbeg and the knowlegde of how to make cinematic footage. i love it 🙂 Subscibed right away!

  6. Photography is excellent and loved that you shared the details,
You had lovely daytime weather blue sky’s and didn’t seem to be too many people what time of year were you in Norway?
We live in Australia and hope to take our bike and travel in Europe etc in 2028

  7. Hey tshansen. You write spring, what week are you driving in ?. just to get a fell for spring at these latitudes you are driving in. I am from Denmark. Super nice video tshansen, well done again, i hope you found the cause af your nightmares.

  9. It not only awe struck's me with the beautiful scenery, but the appreciation in the amount of work that you must go to, to not only shooting these scenes, but the preparation, constant stop/starting and then editing all this footage, so it's possible for viewers like myself to sit back comfortably in our lounge room and take it all in. Hats off to you Thomas. Really appreciate your work and the amount of time you put into making these videos possible for us to watch and admire. Safe travels my friend 😎

  10. Great video and the cinematography is beautiful. Curious, do you run the 40L or 80L Mosco set up? I backpack pretty light, so I think the 40 would work for me on the bike, but was curious what your thoughts were on what you have?

  11. I just test drove a Tenere 700 today.-..lovely….will buy one in the future…going on adventures on my Triumph 400x meanwhile 🙂 Norway is up

  12. Thanks for the videos Thomas, only just getting to your videos now. Wonderful to see you meeting up with Robert at the end, have been enjoying his videos too. Well done on the quality filming, hope the nightmares have subsided..

  13. 18:08 you should probably not use a propane stove in a tent. Burning propane creates water vapour, making the condensation worse, it lowers oxygen while increasing risk of fire. Which is not a great combo.

  14. You bought one or rent one or rent from another EU country and rode it to Norway? I hesitate between a bike and motorcycle.😂😂😂 I know it's free of charge when bikers carry a bike and take ferry. but It costs with motorcyles in Norway.

  15. Now that you've had some time with both the Mosko Moto Reckless 40 and the pannier system, do you have any insight into which one to choose if you can only afford one?

  16. Hi Thomas. Your videos are awsome, so good quality. I am planning to do videos about Gran Canaria where I´m moving. Where can I learn how to take videos and edith? I have a Nikon Z6 but I plan to get some other cameras to use on my motorbike and a drone.

  17. The peeing scene and the fart really turned down the all vibe! I don’t really understand the reason for the poor touch . He keyed me dislike the video

  18. Great video Thomas! I'm planning my first trip to Norway from The Netherlands inspired by Richard (Four38AM) and you. I think I need multiple trips to see al the beauty Norway has to offer. Only one point of criticism : please pack a decent glass next time for the Ardbeg. The Jack&coke is ok in the silicone cup, but please not the Ardbeg 🙂

  19. Hoooooo c'mon, when I hear that fart 😂😂😂😂😂 I remember dont suscribe yet and ran for that, excelent video, and thank you so much for feed this feel for ride like that!! 🤩😎🙏🏼👌🏼🏍🏕

  20. I am sorry you experience nightmares, and thank you for your honesty. I too are fighting my Demond’s and you have inspired me to follow my dreams. I hate those windmills. I don’t think they are the solution either. Safe travels on your journeys.
