Pfff my 2 year old manuals backwards down railings…

… is what I’d love to say truthfully. 😊

That 3 year and 2 month old’s got skills.

Thats interesting, my son is about 3.5. On a pedal bike with no training wheels just on pavement and I’d say he is pretty good for his age. (Gets lots of looks from other people) He also has an electric balance bike but doesn’t really have the reach to pull the brake on it. Did this kid have a hand operated brake? Are you his parent?

  4. That’s awesome! My 3 year old is pedaling now but I wouldn’t trust him to control his speed that well yet.

That’s about 2 years ahead in bike handling compared to most MTB kids I know. I’m most impressed he’s not complaining about arm pump from braking.

That said, you might soon see him riding way to fast and loose for his mental ability.

Also, prepare to be swapping your brake pads several times per year. I’m still constantly braking even when my kids don’t at all. Gravity and bigger wheels are a significant speed multiplier. The older one corners faster than me, but I still catch up on every straight line. Not to mention how fast they lose momentum on every small uphill, table etc.

Awesome, my 4 year old just has to put up with the hills here, not that stunning backdrop. On a side note what full face helmet are they running?

That’s dope, but please teach your kid to stand up on the pedals on descents
