What’s up speedway and cycle speedway fans!

We are back with another video, but this time, its ever so slightly different. This is still a speedway video, but this time, the bikes don’t have any engines!

I attended Poole Cycle Speedway for my first experience of the sport after being invited down by Raw Speedway Athlete Scout, Paulie Jazz, to watch his son Connor Jarrett in the British Under 14s National Championships!

  1. Very good video ๐Ÿ‘ .. I did cycle speedway at Southampton before going into Youth Grass Track .. I think the Southampton track at Winchester Road is still there ?

  2. I went to Poole about 5 years ago. I went to watch Poole pirates vs then riding Swindon robins. After the game I went for a walk near the bed and breakfast I was staying and discovered thatโ€ฆ the Poole cycle speedway track. That thing is amazing. Since then I have been visiting many tracks in the uk including Sheffield or Newport. Unfortunately near me in Luton there is no speedway or cycle speedway but I must say cycle speedway is great! And the building in Poole is also amazing like a museum
Great video. Waiting for another part with ur first ever bike ๐Ÿซก

  3. So wish I'd had a go when I was younger. Only childhood shyness stopped me really. I loved racing everywhere flat out on my bike so I think I would have had the lungs, and I wasn't afraid of falling off in those days. Tracks not to fair away from me in Stockport in those days too.

  4. Thanks Karl, great video and great publicity for our little cycle sport. We might be small in the Cycling Circles, but every one of the Cycle Speedway family are dedicated volunteers who promote, travel and spend hours of their free time to the young and old. The World Championships start on the 10th September 2025 in Suffolk and culminates on the 21st September at Ipswich Cycle Speedway Club with the Veteran's, Junior, Women's and Open World Title's up for grabs. Nice to meet you at Poole Cycle Speedway Club too. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1Pmd9S74vbcKdoV90hhY7w/ The Global Cycle Speedway Network

  5. Another great video Karl. I donโ€™t know how you do it – your videos are exceptionally filmed, produced and edited – they keep getting better.
I have to confess, I have never been to a cycle-speedway meeting before, but will definitely look into it. Talk about Value for Money. My nearest track is over an hour away in Hellingly (outside of Eastbourne).
I just wish the meetings were more widely advertised.

  6. Great video, finally got to see a clip of my girl on the pink bike in a few of the clips take the finish line to win the under 14 girls, proud moment. Great recording.

The world's are being held in Suffolk & Norfolk for two weeks starting Wednesday 10th with teams / riders coming from all over Great Britain, Australia and Poland. Great time to come along and see the action from top riders in the world!

  7. What a great video showcasing a sport thats been around a long time but some how missed out on the cycling boom probably because of its history associated with its superb motor cycle equivalent. In its early days produced many who converted to that sport with great success as they got older sadly a path that dozent really exist anymore . If you want to see another track visit Hull in the shadow of the magnificent Humber Bridge would make another great setting for a drone video.

  8. Such an amazing video thank you for producing it. My son is Oliver Banyard who won the U14 British Final. This video is a great showcase to show family that have never seen it before.
    Thanks again
