From Vienna, I headed towards Lake Neusiedl and crossed the Hungarian border to Sopron. From there, I followed the Iron Curtain Trail into southern Burgenland. Then I made my way to the Semmering area in the Alpine foothills, before returning to Vienna via Lower Austria and the Vienna Woods.
