I was planning on selling the crossroads from a previous post. The women that was interested in the bike was not happy with how it was fitting her in regards to the size.
I had this frameset laying around from which i salvaged parts in the past. It was a cheap bike i got for 30€.
I never came around to throw it in the trash but honestly i never thought it would look good build up.
Since she really liked the color and didn't mind the scratches i figured i would swap over the components from the specialized crossroads.
Now i really like how it looks and it's a good thing i already sold it to her beforehand.
Money wise i ofcourse lost again as with every project haha.

al with the tan wall tires and cork bar tape is a weird combo that somehow just works. doing a 1x on a frame like that was a smart call too, way less stuff to babysit on a commuter. thirty euro for the frameset is wild, and honestly the scratches give it some character. you always lose money on these projects but the bike comes out looking better than anything you’d find at a shop for the same money
