Having only a rear brake is a confusing choice to me. I mean if this is more of a „stroll down the broadwalk“ kinda bike I get it but if it’s gonna be used for city commuting or other „serious riding“ I’d recommend a front brake. Otherwise I like the minimal clean aesthetic.

Outstanding. I LOVE the aesthetic purity you’ve got going here. The bars, stem, paint, seat post clamp, wheels, crank set are “chef’s kiss” perfect. I’d still put the brake on the front rather than the rear. If it’s flopped to fixed gear and the rear brake is just for doing skids, okay. But if you’re running it single speed, do a single clean front brake install. 80% of your stopping power is on the front wheel. Overall, very nicely done. Two thumbs way up.

Awesome. What brand is the frame?
Love the twine and duckie under the seat.

maybe put a sticker on there if you want to dress it up and personalize and let people konw what you’re all about but i really like that bar/stem combo.
oh, and i see someone else recommended a front brake which is like hell yeah if you want to live and live in a city remember folks: your front brake does 80% of the stopping
