The PRAY FOR SPEED series returns for the third installment, this time from the Dolomites.
This is hallowed ground for cycling. The towering jagged peaks look down upon serpentine roads that have to be seen to be believed, drawing millions of visitors each year.
This meant starts before sunrise to have the roads mostly to ourselves while sacrifing tyre grip on the cold tarmac. A balancing act of trying to go fast while capturing the beauty of this unique area.

We hope you enjoy the results of a true team effort from a week of criss-crossing hundreds of kilometres of mountain roads searching for the most stunning descents. Long live the Multivan!

  1. My mind reels at the logistics to hit that opening drone shot. Dunno if you had to do multiple takes or if you just had everything dialed in, but Jesus Christ man.
As the drone operator, you've got to either have your sequence perfectly timed out, OR somehow know exactly where SAFA is in relation to you the whole time, and you still have an incredibly tight window to hit.
Honestly, it's like a magic trick. I might be able to work out how it's done, but it doesn't stop me being floored. Well done lads.

  2. 7:38 wow! You did some dangerous action SAFA but I am amazed by how that truck driver slowed the truck down as soon as seeing you in the mirror.

    God bless the driver.

  3. I wasnt prepared for what i clicked on. When i saw you shooting down a winding black line, with psychedelic flashes of green, giants looming in the background, casting shadows and making the grass doubt for half of the solar cycle. Like an arrow shooting through eyes of needles and leaving nary a regret. Only forward momentum and the forgetten death of things passed, never to remembered. Only forward, hurtling like a soul escaping the last of the hells. To the soundtrack of a crushing doom, smothering my heart in a subsonic poultice mixed of only the sadness of never talking to her again and youth evaporating into a toxic vapor. Only racing headlong into the sun as it fades into dusk.

Windhand rules and so do you.

  4. Kind of like movie art of flight, they captured the place super well as well as the snowboarding. Just in this, cycling. Great film!
