Congrats on the new bike! this thing’s pretty sweet – looks like an early 2010’s Trek Madone – if i were to guess, maybe a 2010 Madone 5.2? carbon frame, high performance road bike. those pedals are SPD-SL pedals, a shimano clipless setup. you can search “SPD-SL cleats” for some options but these are designed to keep your foot positioned and in contact with the pedal while you ride. If you don’t like these, you can always change the pedals. there are also pedals that are hybrid (half platform half clipless). Hope you enjoy the new ride!
Fantastic! I think that’s a 5.5 or a 5.7 from maybe 2009. I’m still riding my 2008 Madone that I’ve had since new and I still love it. Those Race X-Lite wheels are a particular highlight. They have DT Swiss internals and are beautiful.
