Seller is asking $750. Thoughts? Only information provided is added new handle bars, ultegra components, and weighs 17.5lbs.
I am completely new to this sport and am looking to get into road biking… trying to buy used to see if I like it and then ideally reselling or trading up to a nicer/new bike… but finding decent bikes in my size (52cm) is cursed.
Debating if I should just buy new from specialized; I have a 15% discount on all bikes from them.

That seems expensive for a Fuji. They often were a good 30% less than similar bikes. They did this by replacing all non-critical drivetrain components with their in house brand and doing their own production.
Any pictures of the drivetrain? Guessing 10 speed but I’m not 100% on that. Any other info from the listing?
If you’re planning on some aggressive riding maybe a little racing, then go for the transonic. If you’re not, then get the Specialized Roubaix. The Transonic is incredibly stiff, steeply pitched, relatively (by modern standards) high geared, and twitchy. These are all attributes of a good race bike. If you have not interest in any of these things, then this bike will be punishing (it can barely clear 28mm in the rear (wheel needs to be dead true)).
I race on a 2016 2.3 Transonic, it’s my favorite bike.
