This video is apart of the Rapha Festive 500 challenge where you cycle 500km over 8 days. I only had 3 days as I was really ill. We went for the first time – Oxford and back on my Pinarello f7 Road Bike, all in one day.

Join me for another ride as I navigate the roads on my Pitter-Rotter F7. This video captures my journey through various environments, including suburban streets and country roads, all while enjoying the simple pleasure of cycling. It’s a look at the everyday adventures of a bicycle enthusiast. This video is great for anyone who likes bikes, sports, and being outdoor.

  1. Where you stopped to look at the windmill is where the Vicar of Dibly was filmed, and the windmill is the one in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Great vid and one hell of a ride.

  2. Get a rearview radar, it can be had for around £50. I find myself cycling in the centre of the lane more often because I will know when cars are coming and I will tuck back in to the left. This lets me avoid potholes more easily because I have more space to work with.

  3. Well done. Chiltern Hills are a great cycling area, it's like having your own gym but more pretty! If you come out again I can recommend the following stops: Blue Tin at Ipsden, Stoke Row Stores and Cafe at Stoke Row, Cheese Shed at Nettlebed. Oh and you pronounce Cuxham, Cooks Ham. Cheers.

  4. That’s the thing about doing a big out and back. You get to where you wanted the go and then you need to do it all over again . In the winter it’s best to do big rides that loop around where you live so if you need to bail and finish early , you just take the shortest path home .
