Bottom bracket is almost always the tight point, so we’d need to see those photos.
That being said I would feel pretty comfortable with close margins on a TI build. I wouldn’t worry too much about mud/dirt scraping my TI frame like I would with a carbon frame. But curious what others think on that.

I had some 55mm Rene Herse Fleecer Ridges on mine for a gravel event and to see if I could. Tight, but worked great. Im running Ultradynamico Bruts now (700×53) and they fit jusssst right for everything.

Too tight for me but if you’re doing some dry deserty stuff, you could send it. I’d probably run 50 but I often encounter mud and even with my Ti frame, I don’t need it getting all up in there and being a pain.

I have seen tires rub through steel when there wasn’t enough clearance for mud. Is the 4-6mm worth potentially ruining the frame? How heavy are you?
