Hey everyone,

I am about to buy a mountain bike and I would like some advice.

My plan is to mainly ride cross-country trails, with a mix of climbs and descents, dirt roads, forest trails, and general weekend MTB rides.

I found those two.

  1. The carbon one of course.

    Grand Canyon has slightly better fork, but everything else is the same or worse. And it’s alloy, while Reaction is carbon. Crazy you can get a carbon hardtail for this price.

    Don’t forget about pedals and helmet and any accessories.

  2. I’d choose cube. Carbon frame and good parts overall, i’d swap the fork for something lighter in future though. 300€ difference worth it imo.

    Not really related info next:

    Crazy that this costs just 1300€

    I live in second world country and local-brand alloy hardtails on m6100 at 14kg start at this price ;-;

  3. Tight-Apartment-2375 on

    Cube all day, that carbon frame with XT and a Recon fork for 300 more than an alloy bike with Judy gold and mixed Deore is a steal
