This is my first real bike and i’m absolutely loving it. Got it a month ago on sale and I don’t regret it at all. I did a good amount of research and used Claude to help make the choice and ultimately figured out I should get a gravel bike. I love it but I can see myself already leaning towards a rode bike when I want to upgrade in the future. I did a longer ride last night for me (22ish miles in 1.5 hours). Was wondering if this is good or bad for a beginner? For reference, I’m a 24 year old guy and I was active before the bike in the gym and playing sports. To end the ramble, I’m going to be getting clipless pedals soon when I feel like shelling out more money than I already have to this hobby so don’t worry I’ll join the club. Any tips are greatly appreciated!

Nice ride! Just have fun with it and ride how ever long you want and can. Don’t compare to others, go your own way. 22 miles sounds good though! Would love to have that bike and go on my own tours. Hoping to be able to buy my first one too soon.

Can you fit road tires on this as well?

  2. Nice. TBH I’m not sure if that’s fast since I also started biking last month. I got a grizl with stock gravel wheels and I did 23.5 miles in 1 hour 12 minutes if that gives any reference
