I had my local wheel builder put together a set of super wide carbon beaters.
44mm deep, 40mm wide, 30mm internal, Sapim CX-Ray spokes, brass nips 14mm, ~1,550g
Running Pirelli Cinturato H 50mm actually measured at 54mm. Still dialing in psi for different terrain. The frame is a Gen 2(?) Checkpoint SL5 size 58

Sick ride
Yeah, those are pretty wide.
That bike looks fun as hell. Specs on the rims and hubs?
What hoops are those?
As an MTB turned gravel rider its been fun watching gravel riders discover MTB
Big tires good.
Love it. I also have a gen 2 that I’m planning to put some thick boiz on.
Did your bike rack rub the front fork? I have the Küat NV 2.0 and that always crosses my mind.
Surely there is no way there is enough space in the back for a tire that size? You’re going to wear through your frame with a bit of mud stuck to those tires.
what rear rack is that?
