The chain route looks good. Those aftermarket pulleys look pretty badly worn which could easily be noisy and maybe skip on a newer chain.

Assuming the directional shaped gaps in the pulley wheel should be facing where the chain is going then the top one should be facing the other way.

the chain routing looks right. its possible the sprokets could be backwards though, i know they are directional on my shimano but i cant tell if yours are.
