I adore this thing.
I live in an apartment which is on the 2nd floor without an elevator and it's impossible to get a big bike up here.
I wanted an electric bike, bigger wheels and a compact size to store and carry up and down the stairs. This fits the use case perfectly.
I have done 180 miles with it, a few trips to work, Richmond park, Epping forest and other places in London, it's such a lovely bike!
It's not without its flaws though.
I don't love the balance of it when it's folded. If you have the battery on, it's very easy to tip over and it has fallen down twice because of that.
I think the gearing could be better, especially the top one which is quite hard to use.
My chain has dropped twice and it's a very frustrating time when that happens because the chain catcher prevents it from easily going back on. I am curious, if it's so hard to get on, why is it even possible for it to drop?
All in all though, this is a proper bit of kit, a joy to ride! I have gotten a few compliments on it and I took it to brunch one day and had a guy nerd out to his girlfriend trying to convince her to let him buy one š
The color is genuinely jaw dropping, it's the best of the bunch in my opinion. It has this sparkle that completely transforms how it looks when the sun hits it.

I am also a new owner of the electric G line!
My living situation and riding experience is very similar to yours!
Iām planning on installing the mini mods easy wheel extenders for the G line to mitigate the right sided bias when folded and when rolling it around.
And I agree. The black is a gorgeous colour
I agree with everything you guys have said apartfrom colour,im all over my traildust white.š
