I’ve had 100 mm roller wheels from LitePro for a few weeks now. You can see the size difference relative to the stock roller wheels on a 2026 C Line. I’ve mainly used them on DCs metro/subway and a few establishments. Today I took the bike inside a local hospital for a lab visit.

  1. Huge improvement on less than perfect surfaces. Including the gap between platform and train.

  2. The wheels themselves are asymmetrical in that the spoke are closer to one side than the other. So despite the size heel strike has not been an issue. In the far side of the rack, you can do the opposite and make the contacts wider.

  3. You can see how much clearance is created with the floor. If you’re looking to put on a wider bar, I think you get at least 2-3 cm depending on how the bar is rotated. Maybe more.

  4. Note that clearance with the rear rack is “close”. Going with wheels larger than 100 mm could rub.

  1. Do they have a bearing or they have some other material like nylon to reduce friction?
