This is it then! The complete, start-to-finish story of our 1975 Bedford truck restoration. Since the day we first drove this rusty old relic into the Old Rope Salvage workshop, it’s been a rollercoaster of welding, grinding, polishing, painting, engine rebuilds, custom fabrication, and (lest we forget 🙏) endless, endless sanding. Today, we’re bringing you the full journey from beginning to end in this special hour-long feature.
Whether you’ve been with us since day one or you’re just joining the project now, this film covers every major milestone that turned this old, abandoned fire engine into the gleaming base vehicle of our home on wheels to be.
What’s inside this 5-year retrospective:
-The Beginning: Stripping it down to the bare bones and figuring out what we’re dealing with.
-The Engine: Bringing the heart of the Bedford back to life.
-The Cab & Interior: Custom soundproofing and a complete cosmetic overhaul.
-Nut and bolt overhaul: From fabrication and rebuilding, to sandblasting, metal plating and powder coating, we do it all ourselves on a tiny budget.

Wow! I normally don't watch recaps when I've seen the series, but this one was amazing! I had forgotten many of the feelings that I had watching y'all persevere through this gritty project. I can't come up with extreme enough complimentary language you both deserve for this.
