Looking for a new trail bike and came across this on marketplace. Seems like a good deal for $5K, but what do you all think? Wanting a “do it all” bike that climbs and descends well. No interests in jumps, bike parks, or big drops so seemed like a 140 is a good fit for both climbing and descending. Not opposed to buying new either but would rather save some cash if I find a good deal on a bike.

Used market is through the floor right now. I bet you can haggle down for $4500 and you’d have a screaming deal. I’d put good money that he isn’t getting any serious interest on this.
Switch Infinity is a rough linkage maintenance-wise, but rides great when it works. If it fits I think you’d be hard to go wrong, this bike probably retails for 5 figures.
that bike could easily do 30 foot jumps and 8 foot drops pretty comfortably. Price seems like a steal tbh. wonder if the guy has a proform or shop discount to justify it. I’ve always liked the 130/140 more than the 150/160 if you do any sort of trail riding occasionally
Worked in a bike shop for years. Techs didn’t like working on yetis. Just something I remember.
That’s a killer deal. Prob won t last long.
Smash that buy button
Brand new rim and dh tire. Bet he cracked one rim and swapping for beefier model.
May or May not be abused due to use case, rider weight or skill.
Good deal tho
That’s very close to new bike if you ignore the scuffs. $5K is a fair price. Anything lower is a really good deal. You could wait and haggle, but then you risk someone else grabbing it ahead of you. I jumped on mine because I was waiting specifically for my bike (it was 2 years old). Saw it listed by accident, the price dripped a few hundred, I had the funds stashed to the side just for this goal, good enough for me. No regrets and I’ve enjoyed every second on my bike. If this isn’t your dream bike then you can shop around a bit, but if it is your dream brand or model, don’t hesitate.
