🔎5 Ways Your Bike Is Different From A Tour de France Bike
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if bearings aren't just replaced early and often to always ensure they are operating at their best. Heck they probably just replace the whole bike before the bearings wear out.
I have just replaced all of the bearings in one of my bikes; cranks, headset, wheel bearings. I broke a spoke on my rear wheel and found during disassembly that very little grease was left. I probably could have lubed and reused them for a little while longer, but at 10 years and 12,000 miles I was ok replacing them with new ones.
What actually happens with these bikes after the tour? I’m sure they get rid of them and get new ones from the sponsor? But do they sell them or give them away?

Exactly why the riders shouldn’t be throwing or kicking their gear.
Bikes are clean but some of the riders most definitely are not. 😉
You know what I’ve noticed since becoming an avid cyclist.
Everyday there’s something new you can’t do to your bike in case it destroys it. 😂😂
Shower head wash is not considered jet washing I hope
Lads.. im tellin yo all, dont ever jet wash your bike.. never done to mine and they last almost forever.. bearings, bolts, you name it..
I toss mine into the ocean for a couple of minutes.
A waste of good water. When my bike gets dirty I throw it out in the garbage and buy a new one

They are welcome to clean my bike
