for context i'm not really bike savvy (yet) so i'm not going to be fixing anything on it any time soon. i know these are a cult classic bike but idk if the condition is too bad to bother
I love my xo-5. Paid $150 a couple years ago for a used one in near perfect condition. I’d say this really only needs some light cleaning and lube and maybe replace the old original tires. Go for it! It’s the comfiest bike I own. That purple tho 👌

No. Send it to me and I’ll dispose of it.

It’s been outside and will need lots of parts replaced to get it going. If you can put $500 in at a bike shop , it will be ready to roll.

If you don’t buy it I will! New tires and tubes, $50. A bottle of Tri-flow for the cables and a can of chain lube, $10. You’ll have that thing running in no time!
Go watch some older bike farmer videos, he does a Bob Ross style reconditioning of bikes *exactly* like this one. Bike tools are surprisingly affordable and bike maintenance is easy. There’s also a lot of great resources from Park Tool’s channel. Get after it!

All you care about is the frame. If the frame is good it’s worth it
