    Sure if you can find one the right size. It’ll rattle a lot more though.

    Not sure why it’s painful, just use some needle nose pliers kr a similar tool.

    I also wonder why you are removing it so often. For me its only when I need to swap the pads. You can usually get a pretty good look at them without removing them to tell how bad they are worn. By the time its questionable you might as well replace them anyway. Its not like brake pads for these are particularly expensive, I have the same ones.

  3. If you find one with the right diameter to fit through the caliper holes and are ok with increased noise (from the pin rattling), then sure, it shouldn’t be any problem.
