Agree with you about the East side of the country, I'm in West Yorkshire & most of my Audax rides over the years have been in Lincolnshire, Norfolk & Suffolk, great cycling country, reasonably quiet lanes & always something interesting to look at.
I loved this video Andy – riding around my home county of North Norfolk. I always miss Norfolk. I was raised in Wells-next- the Sea as my father was a Police Officer and was sent to Wells. In my childhood my friends and I would cycle all around Walsingham, climbing trees, fishing etc. Your video bought back so many wonderful memories – thank you Andy👍
i love this video Andy – i was in your part of the world The Somerset Levels recently on my Tern Link D8 folding bike photograghing dragonflies at Shapwick Heath and RSPB Ham Wall.Some great cycling and birds/dragonflies on that trip, and i stayed at the Glastonbury Travelodge. keep the Youtubes coming {i have followed you for years}. Paul
Nice video Andy. Lovely area and a nice route through it – although it's a good thing you had plenty of time for all those little paths.
You might be interested to do a search for " Norfolk Wherry" rather than just general "wherry". A Norfolk wherry was a very specific type of cargo carrying boat adapted for the Norfolk Broads, and you could also argue that The Broads landscape was adapted to the Wherries. There are a couple of restored wherries still sailing and also several wherry yachts, some of which can be hired if you fancy a different kind of holiday!

I very much enjoyed the video Andy. I know you did a trial camp before this trip. Do you use a packing checklist or just rely on memory
