Hi, picked up this old rockhopper with the ritchey Nitanium tubes, then the build in my head evolved and things got going, it's a chill out sorta beach cruiser type build, small frame wasn't ideal but I'll make it work, keeping decals but want to see bare metal, removed all cable guides and brake bosses – very clean lines !

That would look quite nice to keep the bare metal and logos as you have it, then simply clear coat. Keep posting progress, would love to see it finished.
They do have reproduction decals that are year specific if you decide to do a full repaint
I’m sorry, I know this will probably get me downvoted, but the bare metal trend is so fucking annoying. I’ve seen too many compromised frames with rust holes from lack of protection, when I was a mechanic. And no, clear coat is not a long term solution.
Also, and this is more of a personal aesthetic opinion, bit the bare metal look is just a forced way of making your bike look well used. If you want a patina, get it the honest way by riding it.

Paint the bare part another color that fades into the existing color.
