One last climb across the Dinaric Alps before descending down to sea level for the first time in months. To Albania’s cycling capital of Shkoder and the remaining heat of summer. This stretch of our route from the border of Montenegro into the Albanian Alps National Park was unexpectedly awe inspiring. Remote and beautiful beyond imagination. We discover waterfalls high up deep valleys, winding cement descents, gorgeous turquoise rivers, and withstand hot days and a night of thunderstorms.
