I saw saw Ibis carbon wheels went on sale for [$800 for 2](https://store.ibiscycles.com/collections/wheels/products/s35-29-carbon-logo-wheelset).
Is this a good deal? and has anyone who isn’t a bike mechanic tried putting the wheels on themselves? Would you share your experience?

Experience with putting wheels on? Have you ever taken yours off?
It’s microspline so make sure you have a 12sp shimano drivetrain. No experience with those wheels.
Putting new wheels/tires isn’t too difficult, but there’s some nuance so you need to be careful to select the correct wheels for your bike. You also probably need some special tools like a cassette removal tool, possibly a tool for centerlock rotors if you have them, and a torque wrench. There are a bunch of youtube videos you can sort through to find the info.
Looks pretty light weight and with 32 spokes they should be pretty strong. Anyone know anything about the hubs?
I’m considering getting a set of We Are One Factions built up with Hope Pro5s for ~$1,200. These are much cheaper but if the hubs are garbage then the $400 savings isn’t worth it.
