
I don’t *think* so given I can move the derailleur forward by about 10mins on clock but I’d appreciate a second opinion.
Edit – The specific risks I’m looking to mitigate is pulling the derailleur off or damaging the cassette.

Id argue that a link or two more couldn’t hurt. The engagement on the guide pulley is very little.
It seems fine to me. As long as the tensioner is doing its job and the chain isn’t too tight, it is fine.
I always check both extremes, on the largest and smallest combination, to make sure the tensioner is doing its job correctly throughout entire range.
How does it shift? You also need to check the high gear to make sure it doesn’t go slack.
Yep, you need at least a pair of links, maybe two pairs.
looking at that derailleur cage angle it does look like youre running pretty close to maxed out on the b screw. id add at least one link maybe two just to give yourself some breathing room. if you stand up and crank it in the biggest gear and it starts to chirp thats your chain telling you it wants to be longer
