I,ve been out here all week too – did the SR on Wednesday, but anti clockwise – it really is cycling heaven out here , oh and the Gravel ain't too shabby either
This Saturday, there is a car free day on the selle ronda (however the shorter version: No Valparola/Falzareog but the Campolongo instead)

A group of us are aiming to cycle from the Austrian border down to the toe of Italy next March/April. I was considering cutting through the Dolomites and staying low as we remain in valleys but it could be considered a missed opportunity.

Looks like you did the Falzarego so the longer variant. I tried to do it too this year but unfortunately it was closed on the day of my attempt! Nevertheless, it is truly one of the most magical places to cycle, and the hikes around this area are no less stunning!

The Sella Ronda is my favorite Garmin tacx bike ride…..sometimes I add in the Valparola and the HARDER side of the Giau….. usually equals to five hours on the indoor bike but the climbs are amazing

I did a week of cycling in the Dolomites solo in 2024 out of Corvara right before the Maratona so there were hundreds of cyclists. It was still some of the most memorable riding I’ve done in my life. Did you ride the “Cat Wall”? I think it’s one km but up to 22% slope. It was last climb of the day for me, Brutal way to end the day.
Sellaronda is brilliant. Best done anti-clockwise.
