Welcome back to The Sweet Life on Tour! 🚐🇫🇷
In this vlog, we continue our wonderful stay on the beautiful Île de Ré and make the most of our final days exploring this stunning French island by bike.
Our first adventure takes us to the iconic Phare des Baleines lighthouse. We cycle across the island before tackling the climb to the top, where we’re rewarded with incredible views across the coastline and surrounding countryside.
After all that exercise, we enjoy a delicious meal at Chez Marie, taking time to relax and soak up the laid-back island atmosphere.
We then continue our cycling adventures, heading to the famous salt flats of Île de Ré. While exploring the area, we couldn’t resist buying some locally harvested salt to take home as a reminder of this beautiful part of France.
Back at L’Océan & Spa Campsite, we give you a quick tour of the campsite and facilities before enjoying our final meal in the campsite restaurant. Sadly, it’s then time to leave Île de Ré and begin our journey back towards home.
This vlog is full of cycling, sightseeing, local food, beautiful scenery and honest campsite insights from one of our favourite stops of the trip.
👍 Don’t forget to like, comment and subscribe to follow the rest of our journey back through France.

Hi both, enjoyed that 👍 what was the steak thing called again, looked lush…bikes look tidy, we have a pair but hardly take them anywhere as Dai can't peddle with his hip…hope to catch you soon, somewhere…enjoy your travels 🤩
I ended up watching more of your videos than I originally planned because I was trying to figure something out. The content itself kept me watching, but I also found myself wondering why someone discovering your channel for the first time would leave without checking out another video. That isn't because the videos aren't good enough. It feels more like the value of what you're creating takes a little too long to become obvious to someone who doesn't know you yet. Existing subscribers already understand your style, but new viewers don't have that context. That's what really stood out to me. I actually wrote down a couple of ideas while watching because I think there are a few simple changes that could make a stronger first impression without changing the type of content you're making. I could be completely wrong, but I thought it was worth mentioning because I genuinely enjoyed watching and think the channel has room to grow.
