It’s nice to know the bizzare rules as I can’t watch it in the UK unless paying an absurd amount to TNT sports. I think that was the draw to cycling was that it’s free to watch roadside and on the TV. It’ll be ticketed at the roadside next!
The minimum bike weight is so archaic especially with the new materials that bikes are being made of since 2000. I think, and the UCI would probably fall over at this suggestion, that they need either lower the bike weight limit / make it male and female dependent
There should be a rule on the maximum amount of cycling related puns in one video. (i secretly enjoy them though…)

Actually if they need to go I think the riders should be given latitude , not people collecting bottles!
I hate suggesting that rules should get even more complex, but I think the bike weight and handle bar width rules should be more nuanced to accommodate riders of different sizes riding bikes of different sizes.
Those rules about finishing are just plain stupid.
