    No way to easily re-install this. Just seen this happen with a customers shock and it appears it needs to be sent in to be completely reassembled. Supposedly the shaft your seeing in there is held up by nitrogen pressure, and pushing it down will cause it to leak when it’s reinstalled.

    Someone else please correct me if I’m wrong

    Others have mentioned this in technical terms, but in lay terms the beans are effectively above the frank at this point 😔

    A tech might be able to simply deflate the IFP and finagle things into place while accepting a little air will get into the damper, but the only time I’ve personally manipulated the dial internals on a CTD was in the middle of a full shock rebuild with no oil or air pressure in any of the internals.
