Taxing money that has already been taxed because it was left to someone else is ridiculous. The man made his money, paid the taxes and left it to his kids. The government shouldn't get a piece of that.

In hungary we called it "death tax". Socialist government loved it, but as soon as Orbán's government came into power, we got rid of it. That was in 2010.
I don't care who's buy land as long as its worked to grow food for people. The FACT is he was growing food and not letting it sit idle. If there was a benefit of anything is that it gave people an understanding on how HARD it is for farmers to make a living and he did that by buying a farm making a show and letting the world see it. In Canada you wouldn't make a dime on a a small farm in the UK you can .
Like Clarkson says, anybody with money just puts their assets in a trust where it can be handed down without being touched.
How do you think all the richest families in the world still have their wealth? Only the poorest people get screwed. Any tax will always end up being paid by lower and middle class. Every single time.
