i have a 53cm in that same color – bought it around 2010 as a rain/snow bike i could run some wider tires on but stay fixed for when i was moving to Boston and it was a champ in those New England winters. feel like i used to know the ‘proper’ name of that brown….
back in Seattle now, and these days it’s 25s, fender-less, and my daily commuter, but will put some fenders back eventually.
the word “workhorse” gets thrown around a lot but those old Steamrollers can take a beating.

Turns out it was just “maroon”

I was creeping to see what else you might’ve posted and then i saw the messenger buck from the core whore stuck on your kilo’s down tube.
That made me hella nostalgic.
