  1. Been to Budapest over 15 times. Never had a problem with the transportation system. We just buy a pass.
The transportation system is on the honor system but it’s not unusual for plain clothes employees to put on arm bands after the doors close and randomly check tickets or passes.

  2. 😂 When you buy a ticket, you read how to use it. It is described in multiple languages. If you are stupid enough to think that buying 1 single ticket you are eligable to ride for days, nobody will believe you. Not even the inspectors. And yes, the fine is high!

  3. 😅😅😅 well well done on your click bait it worked… Budapest has one of the best more affordable on time public transport system in the world. Use your Budapest Go app validate your ride and that’s it … ‘fake’ inspectors 😅😅 or not you will have nothing to worry about

  4. What do you mean you didn't realize you're supposed to? 🤣🤣🤣 You need ticket in every European capital to travel with the metro. You did a mistake and now you blame the metro system. 🤣

  5. If you don't know something, why are you making videos about your stupid stuff? I've never seen anything like this in Budapest in my life. All trains are equipped with cameras, so scammers would be caught immediately. There's also an emergency button in the app, so whatever you experience, you can call the staff. Seriously, is it worth it to you to have a bunch of comments on the video about how stupid you are, but it's okay because at least it boosts the algorithm. Disgusting.

  6. That's a non existing thing. Yes, there are ticket controllers and they hand out fines if you do not validate your ticket, which is a common mistake by tourists. "You do not realize" means make your homework or read at least, everything is written everywhere in English as well. Also reported your content as misinformation.

  7. They even tell you in english on most trains or trams to validate your ticket. Although you shouldn't buy tickets but a pass for 1 week or other duration. It's much cheaper and practical, bc yo can use it on everything within the city limits (which is huge, goes way outside the actual city)

  8. Don't call the public transport workers "scammers" just because you are stupid enough to walk past the validator machine, which is literally right at the metro entrance ans is impossible to miss

  9. Ever had an idea of asking for their ID while fliming them? They can't force you to stop filming if they really work for the metro. If they try to stop you or run away, then they are fake. You can also call cops or just not foget to validate tickets.

  10. Bro, there are like 5 machines on each bus, an even more on trams, and like 5 at each metro station to validate your ticket. There are english text telling you what to do, it's not a scam, you should just spear 2 seconds from your time to read it.
    Honestly, you deserve it.

  11. Local here, born and raised in Budapest. Not knowing something does not mean that you will be free of consequences 😅 always look for the yellow or red or any odd color box and push the ticket inside. You can not miss those. You can buy a pass just to make is sure, it has a QR code so you dont have to do anything with it.

  12. There are NO restaurants without prices. That is your first scam. Your second is that "you did not realize you supposed to validtae your ticket". LOL there is no city where you board a public transport WHITOUT validating your ticket. LOL
