This Pod more exciting than that stage
In the valley, Remco was the strongest, apart from Pogacar and Vingegaard. But Bora did not allow him to drop Lipovitch because Remco had just been dropped on Aspin. Pogacar will win the tour.
summary: with the flat stages for next couple of days, pogi was in his classics mode. he went all in attacked from far.

How are Visma surprised the sprinters teams drove the first 50km? Mads needs to drop the others to have any chance. Are Visma so focussed on threading a strategy through the eye of a needle to tackle Tadej theyโve forgotten there are multiple other racers with other objectives thst cannot play into Vismaโs grand plansโฆ however waning the hope of success is.

Yeah there goes the last hope that Vingegaard will ever win tdf again, except if Pog crashes or abandons with illness.
Is both Pogs and Jonas performances too good to be true? Yes, aero improvement benefits year on year should become smaller and smaller percentage improvement, same with research on nutrition and training. Yes they are much more aero and eat and train far better than they did 10 – 20 years ago, but if no one is juicing you would expect the race to be close, since all the aero, nutrients and training gains should over time even out over teams as staff and riders change around and ideas becomes spread out. And both Jonas and Pog is way above everybody else, so I guess Pog is on the best juice and Jonas on the next best ๐คทโโ๏ธ
Gianneti and Pepe Marti really nailed the nutrition this offseason. Nothing to look here, the GOAT they said, single handled destroying the sport. Just wondering to whom he will give the interview. Tbh, in terms of attacking in the final, I think the trek boys were also just 'happy to be there' managing 1-2bpm below max HR. Lipowitz just has -500 race sense so there was just remco doing the attacking alone after pacing himself with the odd turn of Seixas who clearly also didn't have a secret energy tank left.
Bernal probably doing the 4th most watts in the final today. Strong position in the ineos camp. Very unlucky he didn't get back like lenny

A stage like this is instant green light for pog over Jonas. Any separation over the top and pogs weight for the descent and raw power for the flat and final climb just nukes Jonas
