I think this Specxel jersey looks great and have learned from this sub that they tend to punch above their weight in terms of price vs quality. That said, some of their designs are pretty clear imitations of over brands like MAAP and I’m not too keen on sporting a jersey “inspired” by another brand’s design.

it’s no different than a high-street store copying fashion design cues from higher-end brands. except with spexcel, you’re getting 90% of the quality for 25% of the price.
Spexcel at one point pretty much made counterfeit rapha, so this is a big improvement.
They have good products, but I’d only wear their unbranded stuff. They don’t survive wash cycles like other brands so wash it as if it were delicate lingerie.
Lots of brands are doing this dreamy color blotchy design right now….You see the same thing with the jerseys that have a million random little logos all over. All the big brands are doing it, so I wouldn’t call it copying, I’d call it “a trend.”
Spexcel has made good stuff in recent years. I’m a little turned off by the word “passion” randomly on the sleeve but otherwise I like it.
