It’s a vintage bike just keep it vintage. Put money into a new bike

That thing is rad as hell but, if price isn’t a concern, your money will go a lot further starting with a bike from this century. I wouldn’t upgrade it to be a better mountain bike, but definitely do some r/xbiking shit with it.
If you’re dedicated, start with some touch points- pedals especially. Assuming you havent done them already, the tires are probably a couple decades old and also a good jumping off point.

Magura hydraulic rim brakes and some badass wheels. The more carbon 3 spoke the better.

Cool. I would probably put some grips and pedals on it (maybe gold or copper?)
And a saddle for sure.
Maybe a bad ass frame or bar bag with a cool design on it.

Frickin spoke lights and bar tassels dude. That bike is rad.
Do a kinda resto mod… that would be dope. Drive train, wheels, cockpit, saddle

What bike rack is that, if I may ask?

I couldn’t afford the Iguana back in the day and had to settle for a Yukon. I recall the pedals and headset being replaced rather quickly. If the shifters are still working, I’d leave them for now.
