  1. So?

One of the most valuable skills that a bicyclist can obtain is to not give a good goddamn what people think about their bicycle.

The gear selection small ring to small gear ⚙️ is perfect for this bike👌👌

  3. Please for the love of Christ stop posting this abomination. I follow like every bike subreddit and I keep seeing this thing. Spare me.

  4. Respectfully as possible this bike pisses me off

You’re right at home here with the rest of us bikopaths.

tbh the only thing that bothers me is the lack of tape on the flats for when you wanna go aero mode lol

    Yeah that sure is… something.

One thing no-one in r/whichbike mentioned is the possibility of parting it out. It’s about $300-400 worth of parts separately, but as-is, I wouldn’t pay anything for it unless I had a specific need for one of the components. The Campagnolo Chorus derailers and crankset could potentially fetch $100 – more if you have the original shift/brake levers. But doing that depends on whether you have the tools & skills to disassemble it correctly

ain’t nothing wrong with a little Frankenbike action if it gets you out the door. That Argon 18 frame is kinda sick for messing around with since tri frames are stupid cheap used and the geometry actually works fine for a flat bar conversion. The blue bartape is a bold choice but I respect the commitment, plus those flat pedals with the cleat slots means you can run clipless or regular shoes depending on how lazy you’re feeling that day.

I had a buddy who did somethin similar with a Cannondale he got for pennies and rode it to get groceries for two years. Looked cursed but it worked just fine. r/whichbike gonna hate anything that doesn’t fit their precious little categories anyway, that’s kinda their whole deal. xbiking is just “make it yours and ride the thing” so you came to the right place honestly.

This is the most disrespected bike I’ve ever seen. The blue handlebar wrap is awful. And that saddle is criminal. No hate towards you but full hate to your bike decorating ‘skills’

Man, I hate it to death. But the spirit of xbiking is love, so if you enjoy it, I love that for you

OP – at this point, with the positioning of those wheel, just get a unicycle… but also it’s hilarious and I love it! Keep going you crazy little rascal.

This is the type of setup you ride while wearing a yellow reflective vest.

  12. At least it’s something new and not another rockhopper. I’d like to see pictures of it being outside rather than indoors only photos for internet karma.
