Had a crash today, not the biggest but left some marks/dents in my helmet. The inside looks fine but i'm worried about it effecting the integrity and safety for future crashes. Thanks!!
Is it on the cards budget wise? If yes, definitely. I’d just be wary about using that one even after a small crash if it looks damaged (even if not on the inside)

Yep! You’re going to need a new one.
The inside may look fine but you don’t know what the foam looks like under the hard exterior shell. If it dents, I pitch.

I wouldn’t bet my life on that. Get a new helmet

I’d replace for sure, that spot is compromised and you shouldn’t take any chances with your brain. Smith offers 40% off crash replacement helmets.
Had a brain bleed, skull fracture and brain swelling from a cycling accident… while wearing a good condition helmet. Its a miracle I’m not brain dead, disabled or dead.
I would not recommend. It sucks from the money side, but brain trauma sucks about a million times more.
Helmet should always be the best gear you have, and undamaged.

Ask yourself, “Am I comfortable with the possibility of hitting my head in the same place where the helmet took those impacts? Do I think it would do its job as designed with this previous damage?”

Yes, coming from a background riding motorbikes and recently transitioned to MTB I take the mindset of your head is worth more than a few €100.

Man I just ordered a new one out of caution with a ding the size of a dime. Was upset spending so much but happy I get a new helmet and livery

Yes. I just replaced mine for a similar mark, one time use foam underneath is compressed and will not preform as it’s supposed to in an impact
