I recently bought a Sunday Street Sweeper V2. Today I went to install it, and I noticed that the 2.40 tire is much smaller than my other 2.40 tire.
The label and the sidewall both say it's a 2.40, but honestly it looks more like a 2.25—or if I'm being very optimistic, maybe a 2.30. There's just no way this tire is a true 2.40.
Can you guys see the difference in the photo? Has anyone else experienced this with the Sunday Street Sweeper V2, or does anyone know what might have happened with this tire?

Do you have it on two different rims? Tires can be installed on narrower rims and will therefore appear slimmer
Tyre sizing is not accurate at all. This is very common. For example, my animal glh 2.3 is actually 2.38 when inflated, fit faf 2.25 is bigger than fit faf 2.4 bu quite a lot, demolition momentum 2.35 is actually closer to 2.5 when inflated, s&m mainline 2.1 was actually a 2.25 so they changed the marking on the sidewall on the newer ones because people complained.
Sizing isn’t perfect and tires will get a little bigger as they wear in. The fresh rubber just needs to stretch a bit.
