I don't know anything about bikes I'm just trying to help my son, his current bottom bracket splines are worn, he took it apart without knowing what to buy as a replacement.
£100 later and we're still no closer, pictures are attached. The Samox images are what was taken out and the other ones are what we have tried with no luck.
Really hoping someone can tell me what I need to buy, thank you!

The easiest way is to go to an lbs with your old bb and ask them for the same type. The sram adapter is made to convert a bb30 press fit(bb is pressed into the frame) frame to bsa(bb is screwd into the frame). Your original bb looks like a weird isis. I have never seen one that is press fit and can’t find anything similar.
