Hi guys,'m gogin for West – East Czech Republic trip in 2 weeks.
I have Naturehike Cloud Up 2 tent, and I noticed that the inner tent and the footprint, both have plastic buckles in corners – where the poles comes through.
The inner tent buckle fits the rainfly one, but the ones on the footprint are a little bit smaller.
What is the reason of these?

Commenting for Engagement.. i have No idea and the Same tent 😀
They should be the same size, I’ve got the Cloudup-1 and one of the possible setups is the rainfly and the footprint without the inner. No idea why you’d want this, most places where it’s warm enough to want the extra airflow you’d also need the inner for bug protection, IME anyway.
For my cloud up 2 the buckles are the same sizes as well, so you can clip the rain fly to either the footprint or the inner tent
